George Washington

George Washington was an American political leader, military general, statesman, and Founding Father who served as the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797. Previously, he led Patriot forces to victory in the nation's War for Independence. He was born on February 22, 1732 at Bridges Creek in Westmore Country Virginia. His father passed away due to illness when George was only 11 years old.  A few years later he enlisted in the war.

  • Battle of Kip's Bay.
  • Battle of Harlem Heights.
  • Battle of Trenton.
  • Battle of Brandywine.
  • Battle of Germantown.
  • Battle of Monmouth.
and many more. Late in the evening on December 14, 1799, at the age of 67, George Washington died of an infection in his throat.
